TF2mate: advanced scoreboard view
One of TF2mate’s potential strengths is implementing all kinds of small tweaks by default that you might forget to install when making your configs manually. An example is the advanced scoreboard view. I’ve stolen this idea from flame’s competitive configs.

Tip: coping with bad routing
This tip comes from Jarppa. Good job on discovering this!
Sometimes there’s no option but to play on a server that has bad routing for you. In these cases it helps a bit to tweak your network configurations, but it’s not very easy to remember optimum settings for different types of servers and type them manually in the console each time.

Tip: remember your server passwords
You might be using the “remember password” options found in most internet browsers. Unfortunately, the TF2 server browser is missing this feature for your favorite servers.
You can remember passwords with aliases by putting this in your autoexec.cfg:
alias myclanserv "connect 123.124.125.126:27015;password mypass"
Now the console command “myclanserv” will go to your clan...

Learning the jumps is all about repetition. Let’s say it takes you 100 repetitions to learn the jumps correctly and then another 200 repetitions to mastering them well...

cBullets vs. CZetaX
I just finished playing my first official ETF2L game as a demoman, and even though we lost 4-1 against CZetaX, I must say I enjoyed every second of it.
